Music therapist

I am a licensed clinical music therapist with a PhD in sciences and a master’s degree in music therapy. I offer music therapy sessions in San Sebastián and all Guipúzcoa, providing both group and individual sessions, on a private and institutional level. I tailor the therapeutic methodology to the specific needs of each person or group.
In my practice, I work with children and adults with functional diversity, including conditions such as ADHD, autism, rare syndromes, and intellectual disabilities. I also attend elderly people, both with and without cognitive decline, due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other related conditions.
I offer home-based music therapy sessions, with a special focus on people with reduced mobility, the elderly, or those in the process of recovery. Additionally, I provide sessions in English for English-speaking clients. I adapt to the specific needs of each person, whether in their home or at specialized centers.
My services are available throughout the province of Guipúzcoa. I work in Donostia – San Sebastián, but I also attend to clients in locations such as Irún, Errenteria, Éibar, Zarautz, Arrasate, Hernani, Tolosa, Lasarte-Oria, and Hondarribia, among others.
In my therapeutic approach, I combine my scientific background, deep passion for music, and an empathetic attitude to offer support to those in need. My main goal is to create a personalized therapeutic space where each person can experience the benefits of music as a powerful tool to improve in the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral areas.
Additionally, I am the president of the HERMONIA Association, a women’s organization where music therapy is one of the key pillars. A notable project from our association is senSono, a sensory performance for children, based on musical stories, designed to promote the inclusive participation of children with functional diversity.
